Purpose

Waterman Gardens is a 38-acre housing development owned by the Housing Authority of the County of San Bernardino (Housing Authority). The Housing Authority’s main purpose is to provide affordable housing to low and moderate income families, senior citizens and disabled individuals. The Housing Authority is undertaking a comprehensive master plan process to revitalize and transform the site.

Goal

The goal of the master planning process is to create, through a participatory process, a financially and environmentally sustainable neighborhood that includes a variety of housing types in small community clusters that are knit into the fabric of the surrounding community.   Learn More...

Meetings

A series of community meetings and focus groups have and will occur during the master planning process. The meetings will discuss upcoming planning efforts, design, construction, and answer any questions. There will also be a hands-on session to participate in drawing and designing ideas for the site.   Full Schedule
